Strategic liquid level depths can be used to reverberate the sound field's standing wave profile within the processing zone. With a depth equal to a whole number of half-wavelengths, the sound wave will reflect off of the air/liquid interface. Repeated reflections combined with the continuous generation of the sound field will produce localized hot spots. Material may be positioned within the hot spot zone(s) for quick and powerful treatment.
